INK EEZE SKIN GUARD
-
How Does It Work
Great option sensitive skin.
No glues or adhesives. This is a spray on bandage that washes off over the first 2-3 days.
If you chose the skin guard bandage option, you will have a barrier of protection directly on you skin. It will create a dry seal. You may shower as normal and engage in you regular daily activities. No need to worry about sticking to your clothing or bedsheets.
This product is only intended for the artist to spray the tattoo at the end of the appointment. No need to re-apply.
If you’re interested in having me apply INK EEZE but are worried how your body will react, ask me to spray a small area before you tattoo session so you can test your body’s response.
For those that prefer the Saniderm style bandage, I will have that available soon. I will add a section to this page about Saniderm when I do.
Feel free to contact me with any question and concerns.

What You Need To Do
No ointments, lotions, nothing for about 2-3 days.
You may shower as normal and engage in normal daily activities. Nothing strenuous.
After about 48-72 hours, the bandage will be mostly washed off. You may still feel a little of the bandage on the area. No need to worry. The bandage will continue to wash away.
After the first 48 hours, begin the recommend after care routine or whichever method you feel most comfortable with.

Things To Be Mindful Of
Always wash the area before applying any ointments during healing. If you apply ointment without washing, you will be trapping any accumulated dirt, sweat, bacteria into your healing tattoo.
Wash the area anytime; you may have touched or bumped into a person, anything in a public space, or touched anything questionable.
DO NOT combine/mix and match ointments/lotions. This may trigger an allergy response.
Do Not scrub when washing. Wash thoroughly and gently.
You may notice mild-moderate peeling/flaking and mild scabbing skin of the area. Very Important: DO NOT pick or scratch the area while healing.
No direct sunlight/tanning before getting tattooed or while healing.
If possible, skip the gym for 4-5 days. (At least take it easy)
DO NOT go swimming/submerge in water for long periods. (NO pool, hot tubes, beaches, long baths, etc.)
Very Important: The better you care for your skin in general, the better your tattoos/body art will age with you.

You may notice peeling and flaking.
Allow your skin to self-shed. Do Not pick or scratch. Continue this daily routine for roughly 2 weeks. Once the peeling and flaking has stopped, then use your preferred moisturizer as needed.
Some people may need another week or two. Some people may only need 10 days.
Everyone’s body is different.
